  1. this was very interesting, first it explains all that is expected of a reflective teacher and how it affects her student's learning.it says teaching young children is difficult as the teacher has to plan for the lesson, lesson plans, resources etcbut there is always a way to organize things.
a reflective teacher keeps a track of child's ongoing learning, play ,activities and the factors affecting them.in order to get a better result teacher's should know their students individually.learning story ,a teaching approach is also discussed and its benefits.reflection in action is very important,
every child and teachng situation is unique so the same stratagies may not be applied to another student
EY teachers should be facilatated and given PD courses.thinking lens, the questions a teacher can ask herself to reflect on her teaching, and gives six areas of thinking lense a few questions in each to explain it in a better way.

  4. Well after reading this article I have learned that reflection can be made interesting and communication for two sides is possible that is the parents and teachers so that the teacher can reflect and plan her future lesson ... This is really superb specially the thinking lens and I used to think that as a reflective teacher what should I record... Truly a precious document
Well my question to all is that it's not easy to write stories for all the students what technique can be used that can help me keep a log of all my students as it can become piles of documents any simple technique which can help me maintain records easily and I can have communication with the parents on ptm with proper evidence ...

    1. Maam saira, you can do it by taking pics and making videos when the child is engaged in sth creative then ask the child what he thinks about it and write it in his portfolio n save the pictures and remarks of each child in a folder in your computer.when ever you get thime after school make a photo story of each child using photostory software, this is what is shared in the article and i use to practice it regularly and had learnt it from maam shazia in my e-foundation course a few years back.
